Moonlight Dragon by ladyofthegate Moonlight Dragon by ladyofthegate
This... has taken me way too long. I think I picked this up almost two years ago. Granted, I play a lot of video games and I did quite a few small patterns in the mean time, but geez this one was time consuming. I still love it though.

Though now I want to work on something with a color other than blue in it. ^_^;

That's just fantastic... it already takes me weeks for something 1/4th that size, how much time you must have spent on it! But oh, the result is awesome *______*

I have a framed picture of this dragon! It's gorgeous in both forms - especially cross-stitch. Great job! :D

This is a 14x15 cross stitch project I did. Just canvas and thread. I have a frame for it now and will be hanging it up somewhere once I move in a couple months.

Nice. That really came out pretty awesome looking. I can't do cross stitch for the life of me, so i just stick with drawing, writing, and making my own music (instrumental of course). xD

Beautiful work here - awesome patience - I understand about the blue - the trouble with large projects is that they are in your face for so long that when they're done, you're done looking at them for a while LOL

It looks good. I know a little bit about long patterns. I also know about hating colors after you get done stitching with them for a long time. I did a pink carebear once. I can't stand pink thread now.

I love blue though, it's one of my favorite colors. But after this... well, I still haven't decided what I'm really working on next. Something not blue. :)

That's incredible stuff, well done! I too feel your pain with the dragon stitching - the one I've been doing for one and a half years now is about 25 by 13 inches, and the colours are all varying shades of purple and green and silver (and I still have a long way to go!). Pretty, but a bit opiumtastic.

I was looking at what I want to do next, and I have two other dragon patterns but I just can't convince myself to work on them right now. I might pick up another flower pattern instead.

I have a few late birthday presents to finish after this dragon, but uni work is draining me dry. Give yourself a break from the dragons, they'll still be there when you get back?

I will. I have more patterns than I could ever possibly finish, so I'm thinking I might do some flowers next. Or fairies. Haven't decided.

I love it. I wish I had the money to frame it right now, but for now it gets to be an ottoman decoration.
